How To Apply

 In order to start the journey for a Topknot Yorkie you need to submit a puppy application (link below). After you submit your application, I will schedule a quick phone call just to answer any questions you may have and make sure we are a good fit for one another. If your application is approved, and once all your questions are answered, and we both want to move forward, you will be placed on our waitlist. All our waitlist families will recieve notifications of upcoming litters and birth announcements - 24 hours before we announce publicly on my website and social media. You then have the option of submitting your non-refundable reservation fee  and joining our reservation list (this is subject to availability) or remaining on the waitlist. 

 Once you are approved, your next step will be to submit a NONREFUNDABLE $500 reservation fee and sign our reservation fee agreement. Your reservation fee goes towards the final price of your puppy. Once you submit your reservation fee you will be added to our reservation list . Our reservation list is in order of reservation fee submitted date. When we do have a litter/s coming up we will make our way down our reservation list and ask you if you would like a puppy from the upcoming litter. At that time if you are happy with the parents, expected colors, size, etc. you can reserve a spot on that litter. If you are not we will skip you and move onto the next person. You will keep your spot on the waitlist and we start at the top of our waitlist and make our way down the list every litter. 

 Now comes the hardest part of all… WAITING! We try to keep our reservation list to a reasonable number, this will ensure that everyone receives a puppy within a timely manner. Occasionally, families that are ahead of you on the waitlist may pass on a current litter and choose to wait for a future litter. If enough families do this, you may have the chance to get a puppy sooner then later. Typically, families who are more flexible when it comes to their preferences for gender, color/markings and size, will often find their match and bring a puppy home more quickly than someone who is looking for a specific puppy. If you are a person with specific preferences when it comes to these things, that is great, too, just know that you may experience a longer wait time to find your exact match!

 Once you are on the reservation list, we will send you emails to prepare for your puppy, and provide updates with photos, characteristics, and temperament assessment tests to watch them grow and get to know them! And of course we will also have updates on Instagram and Facebook!

When the puppies are 7 weeks old, you will choose your puppy, in  the order of the queue that you are in. (The queue is determined and the puppies are chosen in the order that the non-refundable deposits are received). The remainder of the funds are due upon delivery. There will also be a contract to sign (which includes a spay/neuter clause and health guarantee), and a puppy pack of goodies to take home with you! If your puppy is flying, final payment is due at one week prior to flight.
